General
1. Foreword
The DC power supply panel-used for operating circuit breakers, charging standby batteries, and supplying power to secondary instruments and other low-voltage equipment-is widely applied in power plants, hydropower stations, and substations with voltage levels of 35 kV, 110 kV, and 220 kV across China.
Traditionally, most of these systems have adopted phase-controlled or saturable power supplies, which are limited by outdated technologies and component performance. Such systems present numerous disadvantages and can no longer meet the growing demands of modern power engineering.
High-frequency switching power supplies, however, offer significant advantages, including compact size, light weight, high efficiency, low output ripple, fast dynamic response, high control precision, and modular scalability. With the rapid advancement of power electronics and manufacturing technology, high-frequency switching power supplies have become far more reliable and versatile than traditional phase-controlled or saturable supplies, and they are gradually becoming the industry standard.
2. Application Range
The GZDW series DC power supply panel is suitable for use in substations (10 kV to 500 kV), power plants, high-rise buildings, residential distribution rooms, and small independent power stations. It provides DC power for high-voltage switch operations, relay protection, automatic control equipment, and emergency lighting systems. It is also applicable to any other scenarios requiring stable DC power.
This product conforms to the national standard GB/T 8456-1996 "Low-Voltage DC Switchgear."
The charging unit can adopt either a high-frequency charging module or a phase-controlled charger, while the control system can be configured with either a PLC-based controller or a single-chip microcontroller (SCM) type.

4. Type meaning
Note:

C: super high-frequency Cd-Ni cell;
G: high-magnification Cd-Ni cell;
Z: medium- magnification Cd-Ni cell;
F: anti-acid lead acid cell;
M: exempt from maintenance lead acid cell.

5. Technical parameters
- AC input power supplies are two circuits three-phase four-line main supply and reserve supply. Rated input voltage: three-phase AC four-line 380V±10%, frequency50Hz±5%.

Performance characteristics of the charging module
1. General
High frequency charging module adopts three-phase three-line balance input without middle wire current lost. At the AC input terminal, the advanced peak suppressor and EMI filter circuit are adopted. To take the MOFEI as the main element, adopting PWM PDM high frequency technology and AC/DC→DC/AC→AC/DC transformation, with autonomous current equalization to fulfill N+1 redundant backup. Electric heating plug can be adopted and it is no need to be adjusted after finish setting.
2. Performance characteristics of the electric power module
a. Standard single module structure
The electric power module adopts standard single module structure with small volume and light weight. Its electromechanical structure design (intelligent cool wind: the rotational speed can self-adjust according to different temperature and load to prolong the service life of the motor) becomes a system itself, which can meet the requirements of DC power cabinets of different type. The wiring terminals of the main loop adopts new type electric power plug from America which have excellent compatibility when they are matched with the relative industrial manufacture and they can be designed according to the customer' requirement.
b. Adopting two-armed all-round current protection circuit
The primary condition of how high frequency switch power can widely use in electric power industry is high index, besides, working reliability is the key. The problems existing in the switch power itself, such as transformer bias and inverse bridge arm direct connection and so on are the important factors that have effects on the reliability of the switch power. To solve the problems, our company creates originally two-arm all round current protection circuit which can avoid the above shortages in order to ensure the stability of the module in some transient processes (such as, jump, short circuit, transformer over heating, parameter drift and so on), and thus erases the unstable aspects existing in the high frequency switch power.
c. Trinuclear+self adopting PWM equalizing current control
Electric power module control adopts double voltage rings (output voltage, inductance voltage) and peak current ring three-ring feeding system, which has high dynamic response speed and system stability. Meanwhile, double equalizing current controlling was adopted to solve the problem of equalizing current of the module in N+1 system, that is, the single module itself adopts PWM equalizing current control (unbalance current degree≦3%). The two equalizing currents supply each other according to load condition and the electric power module can be controlled by centre monitoring system (or by module matcher) and the setting value of output. In addition, they can service independently in the self controlling state set by the customer to ensure the all right of the system.
d. AC input range is up to 260VAC~456VAC. Workable in the area with complex power supply, which is in accordance with the conditions in China. Many input/output under voltage and over voltage protections are adopted. The output over voltage value can be set by the customer themselves to ensure the safety of the secondary cell.
e. With the outstanding features of light weight, high efficiency and small volume.
f. The elements and the complete appliance have passed the strict test and riddling. More than 90% of the elements used in the power modules are abroad brand products, such as: IR, HARRIs, HP, SGS, TDK, RUBYCON and so no, and they had been screened up to the strict industrial standard. All the complete appliances had been high temperature full load aged for 48 hours to ensure the quality of the products.
