Substation structural design and equipment layout generally have the following requirements:


① The auxiliary 10kV substation on the ground floor of a building does not require separate rooms. The transformer and high and low voltage switchgear can be arranged on the same floor and in the same room, maintaining specific spacing. A dedicated building with 35 kV independent substations should be arranged in separate compartments based on their functional layers.


② The substation's interior layout should be compact and reasonable, facilitating operation, maintenance, testing, and inspection by operating personnel. Switchgear installation locations should meet minimum aisle width requirements and appropriately consider development and expansion requirements.


③ Compartmental Layout: The substation's functional rooms should be strategically located, with the high-voltage distribution room adjacent to the high-voltage capacitor room, and the low-voltage distribution room adjacent to the transformer room. The low-voltage distribution room should be convenient for line routing, and the control room should be convenient for operating personnel's work and management.


④ The facilities in the high- and low-voltage distribution rooms should meet safety and fire prevention requirements. Combustible materials are not permitted in the station's interior.


⑤ The doors of the high- and low-voltage distribution rooms, capacitor rooms, and transformer rooms should open outward, and the doors of adjacent distribution rooms should open in both directions.


⑥ The high- and low-voltage distribution rooms, capacitor rooms, transformer rooms, and main control room should be equipped with measures to prevent rain, snow, snakes, rats, and other objects from entering through doors, windows, and cable trenches.
